KYIV, 28 January 2015. Upon the initiative of corporate security specialists the Founding meeting of NGO Association of Corporate Security Professionals of Ukraine took place. The Association is created to coordinate the professional activities of its members in respect to corporate management and corporate security. The Association is non profitable NGO.
The main fields of Association’s activities are:

promotion of business security effectiveness and technologies of corporate security:

forming teams of specialists/experts on temporary or permanent basis to study problems of corporate security;

promotion of information technologies development, fraud prevention;

promotion of investment attractiveness of Ukrainian business through improvement of corporate relations.
During the Funding meeting the Board was elected. It included the experts of corporate security: Sergiy Pogrebnoy, Oleksandr Okunev, Yuriy Kogut, Pavlo Gusak and Roman Molchenko. Mr. Pogrebnoy (partner, Sayenko Kharenko law offices) was elected as the Chairman of the Board. “The activities of Association will promote stabilization of business environment and will protect the members of Association from both unscrupulous competitors and the State. The fact that participants of the market united to create specialized Association with the aim of actions coordination and knowledge exchange is showing the extent to which this issue is relevant”.
Member of the Board Oleksnadr Okunev, well known Ukrainian expert in the field of corporate governance mentioned: “we support creation of Association of Corporate Security professionals of Ukraine. We understand that the issues of business conduction are covering far more than simply corporate governance but a number of crucial aspects of information security and counteractions to corporate frauds of managers ect.”
Mr. Yuriy Cogut, Memebr of the Board mentioned: “The events taking place in Ukraine are definitely showing the importance of information security and destructive character of informational vulnerability of the State and business. Information security is without any doubts important part of corporate security. Having professionals untied – is a step made on time”.
