Extraordinary General Meeting of APCBU: New Leadership and Updated Board Composition

On September 10, 2025, an extraordinary General Meeting of the members of the Association of Corporate Security Professionals of Ukraine (APCBU) took place. The main item on the agenda was the election of a new Chair of the Board and the renewal of the Board’s composition.

Since April 2020, the position of Chair of the Board had been held by Ivan Herasymovych, who led the Association for more than five years, contributing to its growth, strengthening its position within the professional community, and fostering international relations. The members of the Association expressed their sincere gratitude to him for his dedicated work, professionalism, and leadership.

As a result of the vote, Serhii Pohrebnyi was elected the new Chair of the Board. He is a well-known expert in the field of corporate security and previously headed APCBU in 2014–2020. In addition, Serhii Pohrebnyi currently serves as the Chair of the Association’s Supervisory Board, which ensures continuity and strategic development of the organization.

Changes also took place in the Board’s composition: Yurii Siedniev stepped down from his position, and Mykola Pohrebytskyi was elected as a new Board member.

The re-election of the leadership and the renewal of the Board’s composition marks an important milestone for the further development of the Association, strengthening its role in Ukraine and the international community. APCBU members reaffirmed their commitment to the shared mission of promoting high standards of corporate security and protecting businesses in today’s environment.
